These roles and key responsibilities are outlined below:
Subpoena Document Inspection
In this role, you will act as an agent for law firms, facilitating pre-trial procedures by inspecting subpoenaed documents. These documents, often containing sensitive information, may include medical reports, police records, intervention orders, and more.
Your role involves reviewing documents, either in person at the Federal Court Registry or via an online portal, and preparing inspection notes as per the instructing firm’s guidelines. Occasionally, you may be required to handle privileged information under strict confidentiality protocols.
Following your initial training, you will be required to complete the subpoena document inspection, either in person at the Registry or online, without supervision.
Paralegal support
In your capacity as a paralegal, you will provide on-demand paralegal services to in-house legal teams, helping manage caseloads, specific projects, or business continuity needs. Your tasks include legal research, document management, correspondence, and general administrative support. While you will report directly to the client, you will receive regular check-ins and guidance from LegalEase Solutions’ management to ensure high-quality performance.
